Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition damaged during ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ filming

by SpeedLux

An authentic Lamborghini Countach was recently damaged during the filming of The Wolf of Wall Street that has been directed by Martin Scorsese.

The vehicle that got damaged while filming was a real Countach 25th Anniversary Edition from 1988 built for United States market, out of a total of 658 models produced between the period 1988 and 1990. The Italian super car was built to celebrate Lamborghini’s 25th anniversary and came equipped with revised side skirts, narrower taillights, different air dam and improved engine cooling.

After the damage, the car would require some repairs to get the Countach back into shape but thankfully they are not major ones but some of the repairs that the iconic 80s super car needs include a new headlight, front bumper, front quarter panel and hood. However we have to say that though the repairs may not sound too much, but taking into account the car’s exclusivity, the repair bill would probably be huge.

The Wolf of Wall Street that is directed by Martin Scorsese stars Leonardo DiCaprio and was launched in United States on 25th December 2013.
