Lamborghini Gallardo Bicolore special edition in the making

The Lamborghini Gallardo SE that had been unveiled in 2005 was in reality a special edition Gallardo. Only 250 units of the car had been made. The car also had a distinct paint scheme characterized by a two-tone layer. Making of the Gallardo is soon coming to an end and the reason Lamborghini is making just a few special editions for some its customers. The first special edition to come is the Gallardo Bicolore. This one is expected to make it to the market in early 2011. The Detroit Auto Show should be the event when this one is showcased with delivery starting in February 2011.

The car would come with a dual tone color scheme just like the SE version. The car would also get a sportier interior and there would be some power increase also affected. The would be other options also available with the car will be gray, white, yellow, orange and green, all combined with a black roof. The special edition would be based on the Gallardo LP560-4 edition. Rumors also run that there would be a Tricolore edition from Lamborghini about which details and confirmation is yet awaited.
