Matt Stone Racing unveils three-car operation this year

Matt Stone Racing has revealed its Supercars Dunlop Series 2017 campaign, announcing latest recruit Brodie Kostecki and inviting back Todd Hazelwood and Adam Marjoram.

The group anticipates to combat at the front of the pack this year after claiming the Dunlop Series Privateers Cup for the greatest positioned non-main series associated team at the Supercars Gala Awards in 2016.

This year the team broadens to a three-car operation intending to step up its game.

Matt Stone Racing’s latest talent Brodie Kostecki formerly raced in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series in America in 2014 and 2015 and has just recently gone back to Perth, Australia, where he is working.

The 19-year-old is Kurt and Jake Kostecki’s first cousin– they likewise run Supercars in their own Dunlop Series group, Kostecki Brothers Racing. Kurt stepped up to the primary game in last year to cover for injured Lee Holdsworth for 2 Supercars events.

Kostecki states he is passionate about motorsport and going to drive anything.

“I have constantly liked Supercars … I have been blessed with a great chance in the Dunlop Series with Matt Stone so ideally it’ll lead somewhere in the future within Supercars,” Kostecki stated.
