McLaren in need of a title sponsor, tells Zak Brown

McLaren require a title sponsor after years without one, the Formula One group’s new executive director Zak Brown stated on Tuesday.

During an interview the American marketer stated McLaren had to discover more business partners.

“There’s great deals of space on the McLaren race automobile that requires filling with leading high-end brands. A title sponsor will assist propel you forward,” he stated.

“We require partners and eventually a title partner is a crucial partner.”

McLaren last had a title sponsor 3 years ago in 2013, when a deal with Vodafone expired. They have actually also seen prominent partners, such as fashion brand name Hugo Boss and see firm Tag Heuer, leave for competing groups.

Brown applauded McLaren’s Racing Director Eric Boullier and the team’s recently-recruited president Jost Capito and stated he had known and dealt with both men for years.
