McLaren working on a new supercar to slot below the P1 – report

by SpeedLux

According to one of the recent reports, McLaren is in the process of developing a new super car that is expected to fit between the 12C and the P1.

Tentatively dubbed the P15, the model will reportedly come fitted with a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and a mid-mounted, turbocharged engine. Additional information about the model is limited as of now but there have been rumors and reports that suggest the car could use a heavily revised version of the twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine that also powers the 12C.

Actually the model is quite a long way off but talking about its pricing it could cost approximately £400,000 (around $ 661,160 / € 482,230) when it is launched.

In related news, the same report also reports that says the company will offer several variants of the P13 including a convertible and a high-performance model in the same vein as the Porsche 911 GT3.

Well the details are limited as of now but surely we will not have to wait much for the same and hopefully the verdict is out pretty soon.
