Mercedes-AMG GT R Teased Before June 24 Debut

by SpeedLux

In 2 brand-new teaser videos, we capture first peek of the upcoming Mercedes-AMG GT R.

Mercedes has actually launched a video called “The Beast of the Green Hell,” revealing a night watchman as he encounters a pair of curious green skid marks on the Nurburgring.

A 2nd teaser video from Mercedes provides us our very first genuine appearance at the supercar. In addition to its attractive green paint task, the model features an ultra-aggressive rear spoiler, unique GT R and “V8 biturbo” badging, and yellow stitching in the cabin.

It was reported last year that a hotter variation of the present Mercedes-AMG GT S was in the works. It will be considerably more powerful than its 503-hp sibling, but must pack the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8. Other features include four-wheel steering and industry-first adjustable spindle valve shocks. Likewise try to find large rear tires, and as suggested by the teaser, active aerodynamic functions.

As per the 2nd teaser, we’ll see the GT R in all its splendor on June 24. It shall debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
