Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake coming in 2015 – report

by SpeedLux

Some of the sources within Mercedes-Benz have confirmed that the CLA Shooting Brake will be out somewhere in the year 2015.

There were already reports that indicated that Mercedes-Benz was working on a CLA Shooting Brake but now we have come to know that the car will be launched sometime in 2015 and will essentially look like a mini CLS Shooting Brake boasting additional rear headroom and more cargo space compared to the CLA four-door coupe.

However at this moment there is no clarity if the German automaker will apply the AMG treatment on the Shooting Brake but we believe there are quite a good chance of this happening as the A45 and CLA are both available in high-performance versions, while the GLA will also receive some AMG flavor.

The same source also confirms about slim chances of seeing a convertible or a lower and shorter roadster to come out, but they might happen on the next generation model which is due in around five years from now which is quite a long period.

All we can hope is that the report has stated the details correctly and the launch in 2015 would be eagerly awaited by the car fans.
