Mercedes-Benz Concept A-Class: design explained in video

by Alex

Recently we saw the introduction of an impressive design study for the future progeny of A-Class sedans presented by Mercedes Benz. The new design has tremendous influence of the recently evolved concept cars of the brand, with special mention to the F800 and the CLS Shooting Brake. At the moment, there are two videos of the concept model available. In the clip number one, the designer who designed the outer body, Mark Featherston explains the important features of styling of the compact car in a short documentary reel released by the brand. As a matter of fact the very same Mark Featherston has worked on the Concept A-Class.

The German auto manufacturer made it a point to present the first footage that revealed the Concept A-Class in motion and also capturing the most striking features in the interior and exterior of the car. The video clips also have a sneak peek into the upcoming rival to the BMW 1 Series and the Audi A3. One needs to scroll down to see the videos.
