Mercedes-Benz SL have more kit, but less cost

The Mercedes-Benz SL range is changed, with better equipment and lower cost. The SL 500 and SL 350 now available in AMG Sport trim, giving an extra £6,625 worth of the standard equipment, including 19in alloy wheels, Active Park Assist, lowered sports suspension with renewed damper settings and also a AMG bodykit. SL 350 models also have an upgraded braking system.

Cabin changes include sports seats with AMG floor mats, perforated leather trim, black fabric roof lining and white piping for the door armrests, seats, side seat bolsters and centre console.

High-performance SL 63 AMG model adds an electric panoramic glass roof and Active Park Assist; there are no addition to the SL 65 AMG. The SL 350 AMG Sport worth £69,960 – amount has been lowered about £2,535 compared to the previous SL 350 model. The SL 500 AMG Sport worth £79,970 – which is £3500 less than the outgoing SL 500. Production of the new Mercedes-Benz SL will start by June 2013.
