If you remember correctly, it was only recently that the automaker Morgan released an official video clip, teasing its upcoming vehicle. Now, the company in question has decided to show the public yet another teaser, this time an image. This time around, there is the Aero 8 badging on the vehicle that is going to make its world debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. That said, it seems that the car will actually be known as the Morgan Aero 8.
Of course, looking back at the first teaser video of the company’s upcoming vehicle model, the car is going to be a 2-door sports car. What makes the car rather interesting is the fact that it is going to feature a retro design for its visual styling. This is ironic, especially when you consider just how many cars out there which are coming with more and more futuristic visual styling. The one from Morgan looks even more unique with dual side exhausts and a really long engine hood.
Paying close attention to the teaser image that the company has released, we are now able to see the rear quarter design of the upcoming Morgan vehicle. There seems to be a probability that this upcoming vehicle from the aforementioned automaker is going to feature a retractable hard top as well.
Unfortunately, official information remains scarce as of the moment. Yet, the car is believed to have a close link to the Morgan Aero SuperSports, a model that has a targa roof. The Morgan Aero SuperSports gets its power from a 4.8L V8 engine developed by the luxury German automaker, BMW. This engine spits out a total power output of 367 hp and a total torque of 490 Nm. To go from 0 to 100 km/h, the car needs only 4.5 seconds and its top speed is nowhere below 273 km/h.
