Mysterious Ferrari Prototype Spied In Maranello

by Alex

The hills of Maranello are always full of roving and raving Ferrari, both prototypes as well as the fully produced versions. That so being the manufacturer’s own country and location of the factory. There are however chance instances where ones gets a glimpse of something out of the ordinary as yet. There was this car prototype that was filmed in Maranello which had an unknown get up and thereby giving an indication of something new from Ferrari.

The appearance gives the indication of a car that would be front engine and modeled as a GT. A possible replacement of the 599 GTB Fiorano or maybe it can even come in place of the 612 Scaglietti. The possibility is definitely higher since there are as many as six new models set to be launched from now to 2013. This includes a new flagship car which would replace the present flagship of Ferrari the Enzo.

The successor of the 612 Scaglietti is expected to be released by 2011 and also there have been a lot many occasions in the recent past when spy shots of the test model have been received. This weighs the chances of the mysterious car to be the possible successor car. Replacement for the 599 model is due in 2012 only.

Or else the mystery prototype vehicle could be a hardcore version of the California installed with a fixed roof. Chances are also there that it would be a convertible version of the 459 Italia. The point of debate is the sound of the engine which is quite different from the ones that are fitted on these cars. So it’s yet guess work that goes behind the mysterious car.
