The new Jaguar XF has been spotted for testing in Bangalore. The second generation XF was recently unveiled at the New York auto show 2015. It is built on the all new iQ(AI) aluminium, platform. Compared to older cars the new one uses 75 % aluminium and knocks off close to 190 kg of the total weight. The company demands the structure about 30 % stiffer than previous cars.

The new car is lower slung and has a longer bonnet, bigger power bulge compared to old one. The bigger air dams are under the headlamps that further give sharp and aggressive look of the car. It gets clean lines and contemporary look inside the cabin. The steering wheel looks similar to the XJ.

There is also a new 10.2 inch dual view touchscreen and a latest and JLR’s latest multimedia system called Incontrol Touch Pro. Also there is a head up display based on the laser technology that shows vehicle speed, cruise control announcements and traffic signal recognition data.
