New McLaren 675LT Promotional Video Shows Up

by SpeedLux

As reported to you some time earlier, the British sports car maker, McLaren, has brought and unveiled officially the 675LT at this year’s Geneva Motor Show event. Well, it seems that the company has yet to be satisfied with what it has achieved so far. In fact, the company has even launched a new video to promote the 675LT. In case you forget, the LT stands for Long Tail and it is actually meant to pay tribute to the British marquee’s LT variant of its legendary F1 model.

The new video shows the aforementioned vehicle in action. Just as a kind reminder, there will not be more than 500 examples of the vehicle ever built. Once again, the luxury British automaker has made it clear that it is only going to offer the 675LT in the form of a coupe. With that being said, there is not going to be any open top (Spider) variant to avail.

Sitting under the hood of the McLaren 675LT is a 3.8L V8 engine with twin turbochargers. This engine is able to burst out 675 HP of power in total and 700 Nm of torque. This makes the vehicle even more powerful when compared to the 650 S Coupe, which also comes from McLaren. The 675LT will take just 2.9 seconds to accelerate from an idle state to the speed of 100 km/h. And, if you happen to wonder just what kind of top speed that this vehicle model in particular can offer, you can expect no less than 330 km/h.

The McLaren 675LT is actually scheduled for shipment come June this year and its starting price will not be anywhere under GBP259,500. Also, as it turns out, besides the 675LT, McLaren is also prepping a new model for the entry level segment and this new model will debut at the upcoming New York Auto Show event.
