Next generation BMW 6-Series: Here is what it would look like

by Alex

The next generation 6 series from BMW is slotted to be unveiled at the Paris Motor show to be held in September. The rendering of this car has been seen one too many places but it yet holds us in awe. The inspiration for this car’s design has come from the recently launched 7-series and the Z4. With its reshaped headlights, new front bumper design and a massive air dam, the new BMW 6 series does look different.  The redesigning has not only been limited to only these but has also stretched out to the kidney grille and the rear end. Some bits of memorabilia has been taken from the 2007 CS Concept car and added to the 6 series.

The old engine however, is being retained with the only change affected is the smaller 400 HP 4.4 liter turbocharged V8 which comes from the BMW 750i giving way to a 4.8 liter V8 power plant.

The 6 series would for a beginning come in both coupe and convertible versions with the GT version a slight distance away in the production line.
