Next Mercedes SLK sporting revolutionary Magic Sky Control caught testing

by Alex

The next generation Mercedes SLK would be coming with new system called “Magic Sky Control”. This is evident in the teaser pictures that have been released of this future sports car.

The technology used in this gives the car a feature by which the roof is controlled by electronically governed particles which adjust the quantum of light that is to be filtered into the car. UV and infrared rays are kept at bay with the measure of rays being reduced from 1,000 watts per square meter to just 50 to 200 watts. This premium feature comes at premium price too which is 2,000 euro or $2,700 as additional price to the base price of the car.

The power of the car from its six cylinder engine is 230 hp and there are higher versions with 3.5 liter. There is also the possibility of a turbocharged four-cylinder, though that appears to be rumor only. The AMG version though would come with 5.5 liter turbocharged V8.
