Nissan finally brings Apple CarPlay to 2017 Maxima

by SpeedLux

The 2017 Nissan Maxima sedan, which the automaker regard as its “flagship,” is the first Nissan or Infiniti car to provide Apple CarPlay. Nissan ensures us that Android Auto is coming soon to its NissanConnect infotainment system, which CarPlay will make its way to the rest of the lineup quickly– anticipate to see these functions included as more of Nissan’s designs shift into the 2017 design year.

2017 Nissan Maxima sedans is going to come standard with CarPlay ability, considering that all come conventional with the same 8.0-inch touchscreen unit. A Nissan representative told that the Murano crossover would be the next vehicle to get CarPlay because it has the exact same 8.0-inch NissanConnect system as the Maxima. Other designs such as the Altima and the Rogue utilize a smaller, 7.0-inch screen, which implies that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto might be even more down the line.
