Nissan Navara makes UK Debut

Japanese Auto major Nissan has announced its new entry level version of Navara pick up truck called Visia for the UK market.

Aimed at Commercial establishments, it is a tough no-nonsense truck and more affordable than the previous version.

The new Nissan Navara entry-level is equipped with the 2.5 liter dCi common-rail four-cylinder diesel engine, which is now producing a total output of 142 HP (144 PS) and 258 lb-ft of torque (350 Nm). The engine has been detuned from the previous 187 HP (190 PS) and it’s now offering a fuel economy of 39.8 mpg UK (7.1L / 100km / 33 mpg US) extra urban and and 33.6 mpg in a combined cycle.

Standard features found on this entry-level Nissan Navara include the Bluetooth connectivity, the CD player, central door locking, air conditioning, ESP and part-time four-wheel drive. The model has a 2,600 kg (5,732 pounds) towing capacity.

It is a welcome news for those living in the UK and who prefer a pick up truck at a affordable rate. The Nissan Navara can be grabbed at 17995 GBP.
