Novitec Released A New Tuning Package For Alfa Romeo Giulietta

Known for wheedling more ponies from anything that rolls on four wheels and is produced in Italy, German tuning company, Novitec has set its eyes on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta hatchback with the release of a comprehensive styling and performance package.

On the exterior, the natural good looks of the hatchback have been enhanced by a subtle ground effect kit that changes the look at the front and back significantly. The new tuning package comes with NOVITEC front spoiler edges, front-cup-spoiler, side panels, rearskirt for tailpipes 100 left + right side and rearskirt for tailpipes 70×140 2×80/2×90/2x70x90 left + right side.

In order to make this car more stable, the tuner also gives you the option to choose from their wide variety of NOVITEC suspension.

In addition comes a new exhaust system a set of alloy wheels in a gray or black finish with sizes ranging from 18-inches to 20-inches.

As for the performance, the german tuner has approached both the gasoline and diesel powered versions, offering the POWERJET 2 tuning modules which enable the 1.4 TB 16V model to produce 141 HP (104 kW) instead of 120 HP (88 kW) and the MultiAir engine with identical displacement to jump from 170 HP (125 kW) to 195 HP (141 kW).

NOVITEC has also boosted performance on the 1.8-lire turbocharged engine powering the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. The results are 261 HP (192 kW) and 386 Nm of torque and a new 0 to 100 Km/h acceleration time of 6.5 seconds (top speed 251 Km/h).

As for the diesel plants, the 1.6 JTD 16V model received an extra 15 HP (11 kW) thanks to the POWERRAIL 5 module, while the 2.0 JTD 16V unleashes an extra 20 HP (14.7 kW).

The 170 HP diesel model has also been optimised an increased to 195 HP (143 kW) and 400 Nm of torque. 

Finally, a full package would cost somwhere around € 4.000, but this price can vary a lot depending on your options.
