The one-off Ferrari SP FFX was caught on camera in the metal during a private viewing event that was held recently.
Last year in October, some patent sketches of a mysterious Ferrari had surfaced on the net and after that the car has been finally revealed at a private viewing event recently. Commissioned by a wealthy Japanese customer, this one-off vehicle is based on the Ferrari FF and was created by Ferrari’s Special Projects coach building division.
Well one thing we would like to say that this one-off Ferrari is certainly not the best and not the most attractive models made by the company till date. However the SP FFX is believed to offer a styling preview for the next generation California and according to a FerrariChat forum member, the model will be powered by a twin-turbo V8 3.8-liter engine generating an output of 552 HP (406 kW), details which coincide with late 2013 reports.
The engine in question also powers the Maserati Quattroporte and will also undergo updation for the new California.
