Porsche releases new individualization options for Boxster in Europe

by Sebastian Bivin

The European market of Porsche has something to celebrate as the carmaker injects more individualization packages for the Boxster roadster and the Cayman coupe. Porsche introduces two design packages tagged as Design Sport and Design, an Infotainment setup, and Comfort equipment upgrade.

The Comfort package will enhance the climate control of the Porsche and give it some extra bits like the bi-xenon headlamps that come with dynamic cornering lights, rain sensor, cruise control, and an embossed Porsche logo on your headrest. The Boxster and its S version will also be equipped with a wind deflector.
The Infotainment option provides the consumer with the PCM or Porsche Communication Management setup. This also comes with the seven-speaker sound setup for the Boxster, and 235 watts of nine boom boom sounds configuration for the Cayman. The system is also Bluetooth capable for linking it to your mobile phone. It also comes with a CD changer.

The Design Package upgrades the sporty looks of the Cayman and the Boxster with 19-inch alloy rims. Porsche also injects black finishing to the interior and exterior elements including the tailpipes, mirrors, air vents, window surrounds, cabin trim, and the roll bars for the Boxster.

The Design Sport adds an aero kit that sets up your Porsche with a front lip and rear spoilers.

OK a lil off topic but just wanna share this with everyone. I heard too many damn rumours of porsche going down scale. please porsche go more upscale. let other companys dominate the sub boxster market. make more powerful cars and exciting cars ( hybrids, high performance desils or daring designs or very luxarious sedans or suv or even a expensive truck… )

Me thinks Porsche is back on track with these designs. I love the sound of the infortainment system. When can we get one of these here in the US?
