MRS Racing Team’s Latest Porsche 911 GT3 R Gets A New Face

by Ionut Dragomir

In standard form, the Porsche 911 GT3 R is already a high performance car, being a version of the Porsche 911 sports car.

While it delivers better drivability and easier handling, the 911 GT3 R is powered by a 4.0 litre 6-cylinder boxer engine with max output of 480 bhp (353 kW) transmitted to the rear axle by a sequential 6-speed dog gearbox. The new addition in the Porsche’s motorsport line-up weighs only 1,200 kg and offers 30 bhp more than the Cup model. Furthermore, the 911 GT3 R is equipped with striking LED rear light clusters and flared wheel arches.

Well, this weekend’s ADAC GT Masters racing series at the Red Bull Ring circuit in Austria will see team MRS show off their latest Porsche 911 GT3 R in new spectacular and extravagant colors. The MRS racing Porsche was prepared by German car wrapping specialist, Cam Shaft, which went for an eye-catching three-tone color theme.
