The Dodge appears to be planning some alterations in its 2011 model of the Challenger. These changers are expected to include an electric power steering system, a rumored floor pan, new door handles similar to those on the Chager, a wagon-style Dodge Magnum switch to pop the trunk open and the new Dodge logo. The Ram emblem is likely to be removed on the new model as reported in some of the latest reports.
A wrap-around front spoiler, comes pre-installed on the new 6.4 SRT8 Challenger will. The front spoiler integrates a black flap at the front edge reported by some news websites as “having an Abe Lincoln beard and side burns”. In addition, plastic manifold will replace the aluminum manifold on the 6.4 SRT8. Inside upgrades in the sedan include Garmin navigation, new safety features, and the A/V options.
As against the other Challengers equipped with electric steering, the new 6.4 SR8 will continue to have the traditional hydraulic steering. Hence a bad news if you are planning to go for the SRT8. It is learnt from reliable sources that the dashboard will be dramatically upgraded and the materials used will have qualitative improvements. The power delivered by the new upcoming Pentastar V6 engines is expected to rise generating around 290 hp.
Cylinder deactivation would be introduced in the new bigger 6.4 liter SRT8 in order to improve the real world gas mileage. The best news about cylinder deactivation is that it will deliver an impressive 480 hp. It appears that the Chrysler is seriously considering a new eight-speed ZF automatic transmission for the super car.

Do you have any info on what transmission(s) will be offered in the SRT? I have read/heard that it will only be a newly developed 8 speed automatic. I can only hope they will continute to offer a manual.
