Russian automaker Avtovaz says Lada sales increased 5 percent in January

Sales of Lada vehicles in Russia increased by 4.9 percent early to 16,334 units in January, Russian automaker Avtovaz stated on Tuesday.

As per the company estimates, Avtovaz had about 20 percent of the Russian light passenger car market last month, noting all Russian vehicle sales totaled up to 83,760 units.

The data likewise recommends Russia’s January car sales were increased more than 2 percent from 81,849 units in January 2016.

“It’s the best January in the last 5 years,” Avtovaz stated.
