The Federal regulators of auto safety on Monday made the car driving regulations to be official: They are now betting highways of nation that will be safer through the cars that are driven by the machines and other people.

In the guidelines that are long-awaited for booming industry of the automated vehicles, Obama administration have promised the strong and safety oversight, though sent a signal to the automakers which door was also open wide for the driverless cars.

The director of NEC or National Economic Council, Jeffrey Zients said “We envisage in future, so you may take hands off from wheel, and commute becomes the restful and productive rather than exhausting and frustrating,” He also added that the automated vehicles would help you to save time, life and money.

The updated guidelines were given on Monday, that stopped the short of the official regulations, which also targeted the 4 key areas. The Transportation Department announced the 15-point for the safety standard for design as well as development of the autonomous vehicles; known for the states to come through uniform and standard policies that are applying to the driverless cars.
