SRT Viper heads to Europe…. unofficially

by SpeedLux

Almost everyone would agree that the SRT Viper is currently one of the best cars from America on sale but unfortunately Chrysler has rejected availability of the same for the European markets. Thankfully, GeigerCars has stepped up and announced its plans to import a handful of models to Germany.

The European bound Vipers are priced at €139,900 (around $180,930) which is far more expensive than their American counterparts whose price starts at just $97,395 (€75,305). The difference is quite high but if you want an exclusive model like this, chances are rare that they will come cheap.

The SRT Viper comes with an 8.4-liter V10 engine that can generate 640 hp (477 kW) and 600 lb-ft (814 Nm) of torque. It is mated to a six-speed manual transmission gearbox which enables the 3,354 lbs (1,521 kg) sports car to race to from 0-60 mph in around three seconds and has the ability to hit a top speed of 206 mph (331 kmph).
