Subaru BRZ STi Due Next Year With 230bhp

by SpeedLux

If the sources are to be believed then, it is said that Toyota is apparently thinking of a hybrid system to boost the GT86’s performance, it is next year that they will be launching a production version of the BRZ STi concept which will feature a modified air intake system, variable valve control system and a sport free flow exhaust system. And all these changes will boost up the the 2.0 liter engine’s output from 197bhp to around 230bhp. The STi improvement also includes chassis upgrade, where the car will probably receive, revised springs and dampers, 18-inch wheels with fatter tires, and four-piston STi brakes.

So keeping this mind, anyone out there planning to buy a Subaru BRZ (Toyota GT86/Scion FR-S) better don’t buy now, because if you guys can wait, then there are sportier and more powerful engines of the car coming up in the next year, though it would be slightly expensive, but it would be worth every penny! As of now stay tuned for more updates.
