In standard version, the BMW 1 Series M Coupe is already a car with great performances, but for relatively little money, the owner can improve its car’s performance considerably because now TVW Car Design, Crailsheim-based German tuner, offers a complete tuning package for this model.
According to the tuner, this package provides tangible improvements in the longitudinal and lateral dynamics. Exterior enhancements include a new BMW Performance carbon-fiber rear spoiler, black painted roof made out of carbon-fiber and blacked out 20 inch wheels shod with Continental Sport Contact 5P tires.
TVW Car Design replaced the standard exhaust system with another solution that produces higher acoustics, as well as more power, around 11 hp and that’s not all because as TVW claims, the total engine output is of 420 hp at 5,900 rpm, while the maximum torque is reached at 320 NM, between 1,500 and 4,500 rpm. As for the vehicle’s top speed, this is now rated at 187 mph (306 km/h). In addition to that, TVW also throws an adjustable KW coilover suspension on the table. This increase in performance was made possible through a collaboration with Evotech, the company that provided a new intercooler with significantly greater air flow.
In addition, in order to improve the longitudinal dynamics, TVW includes an adjustable KW coilover suspension that was specially adapted for TVW and developed on a test rig. The tuning company promises beside a neutral handling at the limit, also an increase in ride comfort when driving slowly. The necessary traction to the driven rear axle is achieved through 295-millimeter-wide Continental Sport Contact 5P at the rear, and 245 at front.
At the inside, TVW Car Design considered it would be appropriate to fit some leather-covered bucket seats for drivers who like a sportier feel when behind the wheel. Moreover, the steering wheel with LED indicators, also from BMW Performance, is also comes with some orange contrast stitching.
The pack also comes with a customization of the software that ensures that customers realize the full potential of the changed hardware as well.
Price: 5,000 euros.
