Video: 800 hp VR800 (997 TT) does 196 mph at the Texas Mile

Vivid Racing 997 Twin TurboGuys from Vivid Racing are back from this year’s Texas Mile with their awesome looking Flat-Blue Porsche 911(997) Twin Turbo dubbed VR800.

Their VR800 was the fastest 997 Turbo at the 2009 event, the VR800 ran the standing mile in an impressive 196 mph (315 km/h).

Their 800 horsepower Porsche 997 Turbo was equipped with a full Vorsteiner VRT Aero Kit featuring carbon fiber ducts, diffuser, front lip spoiler, 19-inch HRE P40 Monoblock wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires and JIC Cross suspension. Compared to the stock 997 TT the power is increased from 480 hp to 800 hp!
