Last night’s episode of Top Gear proved again, that they are the best (car)entertainment show.
Best part of the show was a one-mile drag race in Abu Dhabi between Stig and Richard Hammond. Stig was driving the amazing McLaren F1 and Hammond picked a red Veyron.
These two cars are some of the rarest and most expensive cars in the world. Only 64 road going McLaren F1′s were built between 1992–1998. Veyron is still in production and limited to 300 units.
F1 packs 627 hp from a 6.1-liter BMW sourced V12 and the Veyron has 1001 hp from a 16-cylinder quad-turbo engine. Even though Veyron has more power it also weighs 748 kg (1,647 lbs) more.
