Video: New Promo Released By Mercedes – “SLS AMG Roadster”

The German auto giant Daimler has released a new video with the SLS AMG Roadster. This car is the brand’s fastest drop-top. This latest promo shows the car driving side by side with the Gullwing model, underlining the thrills and pleasures offered when the 3-layer fabric roof is down.

The new SLS AMG is set for hitting the showrooms this autumn. It is powered by a 6.3 liter V8 engine that develops 563 BHP and has 650 Nm of torque, connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission offering the car a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.7 seconds and a limited top speed of 317 km/h (197 mph) .

According to the car maker, the fabric soft-top on the new SLS AMG Roadster opens and closes in just 11 seconds and it can also be operated at speeds up to 50 km/h.

“The compact fabric soft top opens and closes in just eleven seconds; falling in love with the SLS AMG Roadster takes less than one”, as it is written in a press release.

Also the Adaptive AMG Sport Suspension with electronically controlled damping is available as an option for this model.It allows the damping characteristics to be modified at the touch of a button. The driver of the SLS AMG Roadster uses the AMG DRIVE UNIT and it is able to pick from three different suspension modes including Comfort, Sport and Sport plus.

This new model, SLS AMG Roadster, will be available for its future customers starting this autumn at a price of 195.160 euros.
