by SpeedLux

Volkswagen on Monday reported a 6.75% boost in sales in India at 4,301 units in July. They had sold 4,029 units in the same month in 2015, Volkswagen stated in a statement.

The brand has actually succeeded in drawing Indian automobile buyers’ interest by releasing its made-for-India and made-in-India Ameo, which started deliveries in July 2016, it added.

“Volkswagen today has an improved item presence in the Indian vehicle market throughout categories and customers will now have a wider choice with Volkswagen to experience an enjoyable drive ahead of the upcoming festive season,” it added.
