Volkswagen has no plans to sell Bentley or Bugatti brands: Oliver Blume

Volkswagen has no strategies to sell its Bentley or Bugatti brands, the head the automaker’s high-end brand stated.

“There are no factors to consider to offer anything,” said Oliver Blume, who is also the head of VW’s Porsche. He included that cooperation in between Porsche and Bentley has gained more than the originally targeted 100 million euros in yearly synergies.

Speculation about Bentley and Bugatti had shown up after Volkswagen chose to evaluate alternatives consisting of a possible sale of Italian motorcycle maker Ducati to help fund a tactical overhaul after its emissions scandal.
