Volkswagen not interested in any tie-up with Fiat Chrysler says CEO

Volkswagen is not interested in a tie-up with competitor Fiat Chrysler as the German automaker’s efforts were all focused internally, CEO Herbert Diess informed Il Sole 24 Ore and other two newspapers.

Asked if Volkswagen was interested in Fiat Chrysler’s premium brands like Alfa Romeo and Maserati, Diess stated VW group “already owns luxury brands”.
