Production of the 2016 model year Nissan Maxima has finally come to a conclusion. In fact, the car is now making appearance at the 2015 New York Auto Show event. So, what does this latest generation Maxima from Nissan have in store actually?
Well, in terms of visual styling, the car looks bold, thanks to the LED headlamps and also the Japanese company’s typical V-motion front fascia. Going farther to the rear fascia of the car, the car looks stylish with a floating roof and a pair of blackened pillars. In addition, the rear end is also decorated with 18-inch alloy wheels and dual exhaust pipes.
On the interior, owners of the vehicle will be thankful for the modern technology and premium materials available on board. These elements include a steering wheel with a flat bottom, an instrument panel featuring a 7-inch display for the Advanced Drive Assist system, an onboard infotainment system, Alcantara leather material and also a driver-oriented center console.
For those willing to spend more money, they can also receive optional features, such as, Ascot premium leather seats that are well decorated with diamond-quilted inserts. There are also front seats that have been well equipped with either a heater or a cooler, a premium audio system from Bose, a Predictive Forward Collision Warning System, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and also Intelligent Cruise Control function.
As for the engine, the car is coming with a 3.5L V6 engine. Paired with Nissan’s new Xtronic gearbox, the 2016 Nissan Maxima has a total power output of 300 bhp and a total torque of 353 Nm. The car will most likely go on sale this summer itself and it may be sold at around $32,410.
