2013 Dodge Dart Mopar headed for Chicago

by SpeedLux

Chrysler has disclosed the 2013 Dodge Dart Mopar special edition which will be limited to 500 units.

After the special 2010 Dodge Challenger, the 2011 Dodge Charger and the 2012 Chrysler 300, Mopar will be introducing in this year’s Chicago Auto Show a limited edition of the 2013 Dodge Dart. The main thrust is the 1.4-liter MultiAir intercooled turbocharged engine connected to a manual gearbox.

It comes with a glossy black finish with Mopar Blue stripes and 18-inch glossy black wheels with Mopar logo on the wheel center caps and covered by 225/40 R18 low-profile performance tires. The Dart Mopar benefits from a 7mm lowered suspension, a performance steering-gear calibration and a premium brake kit with slotted rotors.

There’s also a performance-tuned exhaust system and a Mopar ground-effects kit aimed to boost downforce and optimize aerodynamics. The kit includes a one-piece deck lid spoiler, front-chin spoiler and a rear diffuser.

The interior boasts of bespoke carpet floor mats, blue-stitched leather-wrapped steering wheel and an 8.4-inch navigation screen. It also supports wireless charging for smartphones and comes with a sport pedal kit.

We have everything here except performance details, but once the Chicago show begins it will be made known at once.
