Customers are asked to clean the interior of their vehicle and to remove all personal possessions from inside the car. To help reduce exposure to the virus or other possible contaminants from inside the car, customers are urged to wipe seats, steering wheel and other touchable surfaces with a disinfectant wipe.
- Pickup and Delivery
When it is time for the vehicle to be picked up or delivered to the customer, it is important to take steps to lower exposure by requiring the driver as well as the customer to wear a face covering and maintain a safe distance from each other. The CDC recommends wearing cloth face covering to help lower the risk of spreading COVID-19. It is also advisable to wear gloves or have a pen handy to sign paperwork so the customer and driver will not need to share a pen to sign. Keeping hand sanitizer or disinfectant wipes on hand is a good idea to keep hands clean and germ free during these uncertain times.
Vehicle owners who have symptoms of COVID-19 should stay home and have a trusted family member or friend who is not ill be on location to release or pickup the vehicle. Symptoms include but are not limited to:

- Runny Nose
- Loss of taste or smell
Prior to beginning work with their transport duties, drivers are screened to ensure they have not been exposed to COVID-19 and to also check their temperature and to be certain they are not displaying any symptoms of COVID-19. Any employee with symptoms of COVID-19 or exposure to the virus will be required to be tested for the virus at a local health department or other medical facility and will be quarantined as required by medical advice. Employees are also provided masks and gloves and will maintain cleanliness in their workspace.
