Bentley to Bring a Sports Car to Geneva

by SpeedLux

It has quite recently been reported that the luxury British automaker known as Bentley is going to bring a sports car to the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Coming in the form of a concept vehicle, the sports car in question is going to offer a high performance. At least, that is what Bentley claims so far.

Unfortunately, for the time being, there are not too many details to expect. However, as reported by the Autocar, quoting some trustworthy sources, the upcoming sports car concept from the British company is going to have two seats only, to begin with. In addition to that, the 2-seater sports car concept will count on a 4.0L V8 engine with twin turbochargers.

While information regarding the vehicle remains pretty scarce as of the moment, Wolfgang Durheimer, who acts as the CEO of the British carmaker, has actually confirmed that the sports car will make its debut along with some other vehicle lineups from the company. These other vehicle lineups include the company’s Mulsanne, Flying Spur, Continental GT and even the upcoming Bentayga SUV. For those who remember correctly, the car will most likely slot between the company’s Mulsanne and Continental GT vehicle lineups.

Interestingly enough, in spite of the scarcity of information in respect to Bentley’s upcoming sports car concept, it turns out that the concept has actually been given a green light for production. With that being said, it will not come as a surprise to see the British automaker actually starting production of the aforementioned vehicle model sometime around 2018.
