Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV crashes at the Gumball 3000

by SpeedLux

A Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV has crashed during the Gumball 3000 race.

Further details on the same are not available as of now but it seems that the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle and ended up crashing into a fence and a tree. The good thing is that no one was injured in the accident.

Just a quick recap about the Murcielago LP670-4 SV, the model features a 6.5-liter V12 engine that can generate 670 HP (493 KW) and 660 Nm (487 lb-ft) of torque. The model can accelerate from 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in just 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 342 kmph (212 mph). The model is lighter as compared to the standard Murcielago by around 100 kgs (220 lbs).

Only 350 units of Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloces were built and hopefully this one will be back on the road before too long.
