The BMW X3 as a Police Car

by Alex

The State Police of Bavaria has begun to test a prototype of the BMW X3 to be used as a police car. The German company has made available a version of the BMW X3  that is retrofitted with all the necessary equipment that its Police force will need to patrol the German highways effectively.

The BMW X3 meant for police duty is an all-wheel drive version and is powered by a turbocharged six-cylinder diesel engine that provides a peak power output of 218HP. The vehicle also comes equipped with more LED lights than you’ll find in a Las Vegas Christmas tree show.
