2012 Lexus LF-LC Concept – First Look and Photos

by Site Default

There have been rumors about the LF-LC concept for some time now, and Lexus finally revealed the concept at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show.

Apparently, this car will never go into production. Not as a whole, that is. Individual elements will be seen in future Lexus models.

Lexus hasn’t released much information on the engine of this concept. All we know is that it’s a hybrid, and the drivetrain is a rear-wheel.

The exterior design, although highly modern, looks ready for production, as similar looks have been used on multiple vehicles. The running lights are shaped like an “L”, and the rear tail lamps are inspired by the look of a jet. The Lexus LF-LC also features 3D spindle grille and functional air intakes.

The interior, though, is what amazes. This concept car features twin 12.3-inch LCD touchscreens that act as an infotainment system. Additional touch-screen surfaces can be found on each of the doors, and allow the driver or passenger to control the windows, the seating, the climate or the personal entertainment functions. There is leather and polished wood everywhere, making the interior look classy and stylish.

Future Lexus vehicles that may contain elements of this concept are the successor of the SC430 or the LF-A.
