2015 Ford Mustang has a burnout control electronic system – report

by SpeedLux

As per a recent report, the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang will allegedly come equipped with an electronic burnout control system.

The new pony car has already created a lot of buzz around the automotive media and now it seems that Ford has decided to install some more electronic aid for the sixth-gen Mustang. According to Motor Authority, the system will enable drivers to execute the perfect, smoky, epic burnout and can be characterized as the equivalent of a launch control for burnouts.

However exact details on how this system works are not known as of now but MT believes it could enable a line lock on the front brakes and at the same time will turn off the traction control system to reach the suitable engine speed in order to release the clutch which would allow for a burnout procedure.

There are many people around the world who believe that using electronic aids to perform a burnout will take away most of the fun and they are right also in thinking so. Therefore there are chances that this burnout control system could be disabled as well so that the drivers will have the possibility to perform burnouts the old fashioned way.
