Ford has recently officially released the first images of the 2015 Mustang Convertible.
Looking virtually similar to the coupe, the convertible now comes with a new multilayer cloth top that promises to give the car a more upscale appearance. The car now not only looks better with the new top but the top has additional insulation which should result in a quieter cabin. Ford also says the top lowers twice as fast as before and has a sleeker profile when retracted.
The convertible will be offered with three different engines like the coupe itself. The entry-level 3.7-liter V6 engine will generate an output of at least 300 hp (223 kW) and 270 lb-ft (365 Nm) of torque, while the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder mill is expected to output at least 305 hp (227 kW) and 300 lb-ft (406 Nm) of torque. Last but not the least, the range-topping Mustang GT will come equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine that generates more than 420 hp (313 kW) and 390 lb-ft (528 Nm) of torque.
With the new fresh look, we can hope the convertible to be a better version and hopefully the customers will love it more than before.
