The next-gen Ford Mustang has been captured on camera yet again, ahead of what we hope will be a reveal before the end of the year.
Ford is very smartly still using full-body camo for the new Mustang and so we can’t really get an idea about the vehicle’s design. However, we do know that it will be offered with a 5.0-liter V8 engine capable of producing around 450 hp (335 kW) and also with a lesser 4-cylinder, 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine generating 360 hp (261 kW). There are also reports about an entry-level model and a flagship Shelby GT350 producing substantially more output than the aforementioned V8.
There were come rumors recently in the last month which stated that a special 50th anniversary version consisting of 1,000 cars which will be made and sold for the 2014 ½ model year. These cars will get a special VIN and build number, along with the V8 5.0-liter engine. Other changes that may feature include the pipeline, such as special badging and minor design tweaks.
The sixth generation of the Ford Mustang will be the first to reach Europe where it will most likely be offered with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine. The 2015 Mustang is expected to go on sale several months later after the special edition model.
