2015 Mercedes AMG GT – new teasers and details

Mercedes has released new details and teasers for the 2015 AMG GT showing the prototype with a sparkling bright green wrap on public streets.

Details are limited, but in the latest issue of the Driving Performance magazine, Mercedes does say the model will have a muscular, never ending front and a staggeringly beautiful rear, while being true lightweight thanks to an aluminum space frame chassis.

MB did confirm the engine is a new twin-turbo connected to a dual-clutch transmission. What exactly is hard to tell, but our guess is that there is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with over 500 horsepower.

In addition a market launch was confirmed for March 2015. So little less than a year before first new AMG supercars are out in the wild.
