Recently, some folks have managed to snatch quite a few images of the upcoming M4 GTS vehicle model from the luxury German automaker, BMW. The images were snatched as the car ran through some tests in Scandinavia. It seems as if it had become a trend these days for automakers to run evaluations of their upcoming vehicle model at the Scandinavian soil.
The BMW vehicle model spotted here wears the MotoGP safety car disguise. The test mule looks familiar, to be honest. However, some things look different, such as the fixed wing on the rear end of the car and the front spoiler. As you can see, the changes are not major at all. Nevertheless, the Motor.es has reported that this upcoming vehicle model from the German automotive marquee is also going to sport OLED taillights in addition to laser headlamps.
Well, that is for the exterior. Unfortunately, though, those who snatched the images of the upcoming German coupe could not manage to snatch some interior images as well. Nevertheless, the exterior images snatched are enough to give away the fact that the car will be coming with a roll cage as well as Recaro sport seats.
Now, when it comes to technical specifications, it seems that we are going to have to wait for some more time. The thing is that BMW has been trying not to spill the beans on the vehicle so far. Reports around the web, however, indicate that the 2016 BMW M4 GTS will most likely greet its owners with components made of the aluminum and carbon fiber materials. Of course, this is to minimize the weight of the vehicle. Additionally, the car will also reportedly feature an upgraded version of BMW’s 3.0L 6-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine and a set of sport suspensions.
