2013 BMW M4 DTM announced

by David Bond

BMW has recently announced that very soon a new M4 DTM will replace the existing M3 DTM model.

The company did not reveal any further details regarding the same and is trying to keep the same under tight wraps as of now. However BMW Motorsport Director Jens Marquardt hinted that the BMW Concept M4 Coupe certainly looks pretty fantastic and so will the DTM car for next season as promised by him.

He further praised the existing BMW M3 DTM model stating that the model had won the title at the first attempt itself in the year 2012. He wanted this success to be passed on its successor but also stated that it will still be quite a while until people get to see the new DTM racing car for the first time.

Another executive of BMW, BMW M GmbH President Dr. Friedrich Nitschke, also sounded pretty confident and exciting about this new model when he said that the launch of the BMW Concept M4 Coupe will lay the foundation for a new era, both on the road and on the racetrack.

He ended in style stating that all fans of BMW M and the DTM certainly have a good reason to start looking forward to 2014.
