Additional leaked official images of the 2014 BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe have surfaced online ahead of a very possible online reveal that could take place this weekend.
If we talk about the 5-Series sedan and the 6-Series Gran Coupe there are quite a few changes justifying the existence of two distinct models, but we are afraid that the same can’t be said about the 3-Series sedan and 4-Series Gran Coupe duo since the cars look very much alike. Except for the slightly more sloped roofline and mildly modified bumpers, the 4-Series Gran Coupe looks pretty much a copy of the 3-Series sedan.
It will probably have the same 2810mm wheelbase and will allegedly feature frameless doors while the height is expected to decrease by 7mm. we can also expect the curb weight to increase by 100 kg (220 lbs) as a result of adding the rear doors which will make the car around 5,000 GBP (about 8,200 USD or 6,000 EUR) more expensive than the 3-Series sedan.
We can expect the car to be publicly unveiled at the 84th edition of the Geneva Motor Show to be held in early March.
