Autofilou have recently posted an image which they claim depicts the Lamborghini Gallardo successor, although there are quite a few reasons to remain circumspect about the claim.
The attached image is clearly a render and it doesn’t seem to come from Lamborghini judging by the front wheel which doesn’t seem to be fit correctly in place. However, even if it’s not an official rendering it still gives us an idea and a better understating of what to expect from the company’s new entry-level model which is rumored to receive either the Cabrera or Huracan nameplate.
Lamborghini has already released three teaser videos so far which were nothing less than annoying to build up hype for what will probably be an online reveal on Christmas Eve. Details about the car are limited as of now but its design is expected to be a mixture between the Aventador and Sesto Elemento.
Under the hood, power will probably be provided by the familiar V10 5.2-liter engine that will be upgraded to generate around 600 hp (447 kW) that will be sent to both axles through a dual-clutch 7-speed gearbox.
