There have been different rumors about BMW working on an Audi R8 competitor, which have all been denied by BMW. Artist Idries Noah could not wait no longer and decided to design his own version of it.
According to Idries his recipe was simple. It needed to look aggressive, sleek, agile and totally different from anything on the road today.
Even though most of the design is unique he has kept some of the BMW details like the trademark grille and hockey stick pillar.
His main inspiration came from water and the way it flows. Side design is inspired from surfing and the way big waves form into a barrel/tube.
Under the hood would be a modified 5-liter V10 found in the M5 and M6. Unfortunately it is just a rendering and even if BMW is going to build an Audi R8 fighter it won’t be as aggressive as this concept.
