Bugatti announced a limited edition all-yellow Veyron last month. They also released information about a Bugatti Veyron GrandSport Vitesse, another record breaker for Bugatti.
The new Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse features the same 16 cylinder engine with 4 turbochargers and a crazy output of 1200 horsepower and 1500 lb-ft of torque. The difference in this model is made by the all new chassis, which really reflects on the performance: the new GrandSport Vitesse is rumored to sprint to 100 km/h in just 2.3 seconds, two tenths of a second faster than the previous model. The top speed is likely to go a little higher than the one of the outgoing supercar due to the decreased weight (which is merely a rumor, but it’s likely to be confirmed thanks to the new, more efficient chassis).
According to Wolfgang Dürheimer, Bugatti CEO, the rapid success of the Veyron SuperSport convinced them to increase the Bugatti Roadster’s performance.
Sadly, this is all Bugatti wanted to let us know until the Geneva Event next month. That’s when they’ll reveal this version of the Bugatti, along with pricing information, a release date and other differences between this car and previous models. Stay tuned on speedlux.com for more information when it’s released.
